The album songs include Mwigulu Eriyo Ekyama (The heavenly hidden treasure), Yongeza Omuliro (Accelerate), Bw’on’oleka Yesu (You have none to go to if you detach yourself from Jesus), Bwana Ametoa (God gave), Mulung Niye Atutonza (God is our creator), and Agwacenyumanyuma (the back direction).

The album, Tugumire ku Yesu (Let us retain our confidence in Jesus) has seven Lugwere songs, blended with Akong (Iteso musical instrument) and Embaire (Bagwere xylophone) dance beats. Local artiste John Otai alias Jonnie Baapapa, is giving Gospel music a new taste with his new traditional release. Members of Francaise Alliance will pay sh4,000. Francaise Alliance will sponsor the show. They include Baron and Vampas, Intwari Cultural Troupe, Extra Dancing Group, and Dynamic Adungu Cultural Group. The launch will feature several music groups from Uganda and Rwanda. Local reggae artiste Mako Nikoshua is to launch his album entitled Ninde at Sabrina’s Pub on Thursday, May 20, at 8:00pm. They are also spiced with other sound effects like xylophones, percussion and calabash shakers. The tracks have reggae as the underlying beat. They are Kulabako (Love song), Muzuukuke (a song mobilising people to work), Essanyu ly’omuzadde (sensitising people on HIV/AIDS), Simula Endongo (the important role of music, dance and drama), Okuva lwe Nakulaba (Love song) and Obuganda Buladde (Buganda Kingdom song). The album entitled Kulabako contains six Luganda songs in the style of reggae. Jitta Joshua Kigongo, a fresh graduate from Makerere University, has hit the music scene with a maiden recording. Although not yet released to Ugandan radios, Cool says the song is already enjoying considerable airplay in Kenya and Tanzania. Sang in Swahili, it is a light blend of zouk and dance hall.
